Rockpals CS called me back. They confirmed that it blinked like that due to an indication that the battery had hit the low voltage setting. Said that it was normal for it to do that while charging.
said to let it charge fully and sit for 30-1 hour so it can reset.
the pack charged to full...
You should be gtg once it fully charges. Mine blinked most of the time charging up and I unplugged it and it reset itself. I’ve been getting mine out every couple months and topping it off. Usually hasn’t dropped too much by then.
I bought the 300w solar generator back in the spring. I didn’t realize the unit would self discharge after I had it. I never plugged it up or used it. Manual said to discharge it fully before charging so I got it out today to cycle it.
it wouldn’t turn on so I plugged it into a wall outlet. The...
We are finally buying our permanent residence. I’ve used a small solar generator and a 100w foldable panel up until now for back up power. The house is in a perfect place here in my area. House sits on a south facing point. I plan to put an off grid back up system that is scalable starting with...
So I checked on it. Same status when I found it. Unplugged it from the walland the unit turned off. turned the power on to the ac port and display stayed on at 11.0v it ran fine while checking it on a can opener(what I had handy). Showed everything on the display and all the ports seem to be...
I’m looking at getting my first small solar generator and I’ve narrowed it down to the rockpals 300w for a few reasons. I’m using this as a grid down backup. Mostly to charge radios, phones and iPads. It will be used to run a few other small things
-the system is sized well enough for my...
Thank you for your reply. I’m actually looking for an all in one unit. I’ve watched will’s video featuring the rockpals and the jackery and found the faster charging of the rockpals to be more beneficial. Offers more time for use. I’ve seen a few more different brands and models come out lately...
Thank you. I thought that the panel produced the power from sunlight. But I knew it wouldn’t flow through the charge controller if not needed. I didn’t know if it was dispersed in heat through the controller.
I’m looking at getting a bluetti eb120 or 150 before they are gone. It’s all the power I need, I will be putting in a larger off grid system for the house. My question is I plan to start with this and permanently install 4 100w panels. That will power this system and be the start of the larger...
I’m getting my first small solar generator(rockpals 300w). It fits all my needs at the moment. The one question I have is I’m sure I will need to run more than one thing at a time on the ac outlet. Is there a general rule for using power strips, besides, I would imagine to keep below the wattage...
