Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

I didn't bend anything to make them fit. I did need to trim a tiny bit of heat shrink on the actual leads, but they mount to each other flat without any interference. I used the shortest 5/16" bolts I could find. Nut, bolt and washers. I made it so the two terminals and the balance lead all...

Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

@ksmithers I am using the Overkill Solar bms and used his settings. I haven't changed anything. My discharge test shutoff because my inverter hit low voltage disconnect before the BMS did.

Also, the cells remained perfectly in balance until the bottom 10%. Even then they were still only separating by .035v. Im extremely impressed. The top balance was completely necessary for my to get full potential. Before the top balance you can read above, my pack was more than .1v different...

Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

Finally received my power supply and completed the top balance yesterday. Now all four packs are resting exactly the same. I ran my first test once I got it assembled. I used a group 31 battery box, 5/16" stainless hardware and some materials from around the house. I used the 1/4" foam and...

Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

My 4 pack appeared close on initial testing, but once I started charging there were two packs that were clearly a higher SOC than the other two. First pack to hit 3.65, 2nd was at 3.58. Pack 3 was 3.48 and pack 4 was 3.44. Rather than screw around with it, I ordered a power supply to make...

Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

I just received my cells. Memorial Day sale had the 4pack delivered for $257. Too good a deal to pass up. Overkill Solar BMS enroute for $142. I need the cold temp protection here. 100ah battery for $400 total. Now to work on charging and top balance.

RV'er needing help would replacing x2 6 Volt batteries to one Battleborn work since we dont go off grid for now just need power between destination?

It seems as though your question is "can I replace 2 - 6v batteries with a Battleborn?" The answer is yes. 12v is 12v. It also seems that you were looking for the answers that agree with your plan. I think what others are trying to say is that a BB is a very expensive house battery, especially...

    New RV, battery advice please.

Thats what I was asking about. I dont think the Daly smart has low-temp. Only the Overkill solar BMS has the low temp that works.

    New RV, battery advice please.

@snoobler , Does the Daly have low-temp protection? I thought it only had high temp cutoff. Everything I found, including Will's page, shows the Daly is high temp only.

    New RV, battery advice please.

Im jealous of the setup. I live in MN and frequently hunt and camp in the spring and fall. Adding a 150w solar panel to my dual 6v FLA setup made a huge difference. To the OP, switching to a diesel heater would definitely reduce power usage compared to a forced air propane furnace. Having a...

    New RV, battery advice please.

125 watts at 12.8v = 9.76 amps. That's ALOT for a furnace which makes sense for a large 5'r. Low power usage compared to electric heat, but still large draw if you're on battery only. So if your furnace runs twice an hour for 15 mins each, every hour for 10 hours overnight....That's 48.8...
