Thanks for the post, I still can't access stats, etc. for my setup. Still hoping for some info on 3rd party software for my EG4 inverter & battery as I doubt the original software will be upgraded soon.

With the EG4 6500 you can wire in utility then setup priority and minimum for utility draw. I have it set at 1st-solar, 2nd-battery, 3rd-utility and 20% battery starts to draw from the grid.

Micah & everyone, thanks much for taking the time to reply. I've given up on the EG4 software and am searching for a generic monitoring program- no luck so far. I'll post if I find something, hope EG4 addresses this problem soon.
