Retired Electrical Engineer with strong background in energy systems for portable electronics in the medical and industrial fields. Interested in learning more about solar systems, batteries and building my own solar system whilst sharing this experience with friends and neighbors.
Current or Future Solar Power System
Plan to start small at 1st with a EG4 all in one inverter and battery for UPS purpose and later add a small solar ground array. Plan to follow up with a larger mounted porch array and system if I can get the approvals. I will share this experience with friends and help them build identical systems after I "kick the tires" with my own build.
