I was under the assumption that parallel only doubles the ah and not the draw. Does it also double the draw capacity. Example. 280ah battery at 1c can draw 280 amps. 2 in parallel would be 560ah. Can it now draw 560 amps?

That battery linked by the OP is L-ion. Not a great idea on a boat. Lifepo4 is a better option. That supplier also has those banks but are currently sold out I believe

So as a follow up then if I am running 4s2p with 280ah cells, is that still 560 amp max draw?

Can I run two 24V packs with BMS on both in series to get to 48V or should I just do 1 x 48V battery? I have two 24V 300 amp BMSs and no 48V one. I am not against running a 48V one but it's just a waste of the two 24V ones if I can just run them in series. I am not sure if the two BMSs behave...
