Using Google translate + some work, I have created the English version of the Sinowealth BMS Tool introduction document, including correct screenshots and translated tables. Feel free to let me know if you find mistakes...

I'm not sure if this Sinowealth app is working with Dali Smart BMS 16S. My understanding is that for BMS with +5S you should use the official Daly app. There is another thread covering this: New Daly "Smart" BMS w/ Communication. (80-250A) You can download from Dali here: DalyBmsMonitorV1.1.4 We...

This is the application from Sinowealth that Dali is asking us to use when dealing with their 3S, 4S and 5S BMS. This is version 0.1 don't know if there is a newer version?

I was also struggling turning the BMS on. Have found that when connecting USB to the PC, it turned on the BMS (confirmed with internal LED). Then I have found that when applying the charging voltage to the battery bank, it was turning on the BMS. I playing with 3x 250A Daly BMS configured for 4S

Yes that's the one. I tried it on iPad: iy's not native iPad app, but it seems working like in the iPhone.

The App gives you information such as SOC, incoming or outgoing current, individual cell voltage, and confirm the BMS is working. That's it. For all the configuration, you need to use the PC application. This setup is not yet in production, but I think I can deal with this on a daily basis.

For sure the amperage is not readed from this wires. I have never opened a Daly BMS, but amperage is evaluated either with hall effect or with a shunt. Given the about 10% deviation you see, I would fgive a try with the calibration. If this possibility exists, there must be a reason ;-).

Don't think are any ways to calibrate the inputs. I have check mine and I get a caution of 0.002v between calibrated multimeter reading and BMS reading. So pretty good. Have you double check that you don't have a bad connection? check both sides (battery and connector).

Hi, do you manage to update the settings from the mobile app? so far with the mobile app I can only get a working main screen (the one that displays the SOC), but no luck with all the settings. I have 3x BMS, all behaves the same. I thought the reason was because mine is 4S, and requires...

Thanks. This is strange because in my case there is no ask for inputing the passcode. Have you double check with PC app that the settings are correct? Regarding the chemistry, in the PC app it seems to be a test information. I don't think it changes the way the MBS behave.

Hi Alan, I'm curious how you manage to make it working. I'm also on IOS with latest update of Smart BMS app (v 1.0.6). I can see the voltage, temperatures, Soc, ... on the main page, but all the setting pages are filled with 0. I can put a value and hit the update button, but it is not uploaded...

On iPhone version, the password is not asked. And all setting displayed by the app are by default zero. So means the app is not reading those from the BMS. One last thing, the App is not compatible with iPhone dark mode, it it doesn't display all the texts I have reported this to the developper...
