With some external controls maybe I can actually get my inverter to operate the way it should have out of the box ;).

Ok I'm a bit stupid. But I did find it. I started watching a video on how discovery worked and it's from the sender (Solar assistant) end. Went back to those settings and I had discovery turned off. Lol I'm sure I'll be back for other questions. With any luck I'll answer them myself!

My first guess would be those two data points were gathered at slightly different times on a partly cloudy day. Do you find its consistently inconsistent?

Yep that’s exactly how I had it setup. I would zero out my meter 5am to 8pm during high cost rates.

Yeah that doesn’t look good. What if you add load output and soc to that graph? The solarman data has been very reliable for me even if it is clunky.

Are All the panels south facing? You should be getting more than 50% output. My south facing arrays in triple digit heat will still do 75%.
