I've been searching through Digikey and other places and can't seem to find something I could use for running a solar-assistant box into this inverter. This one looks really close but the measurements aren't quite right...
Calibrating battery voltage. I have two r8klna's and one shows 2v higher for battery voltage than the other. Verified with a multimeter. Both inverters are wrong. Seems to be playing havoc with closed loop battery communication since the bms hits high voltage cell protect before the inverter...
I overlooked a setting in the paralleling menu of the master inverter. You can set the overall max charge and discharge rates. I suspect this will solve my current issue. Thanks to the Megarevo folk for pointing it out.
I don't remember who it was but they mentioned with the updated firmware I uploaded in this thread while it allowed parallel operation if he tried to use more than 8kw the inverter(s) would give an overload error. I Just installed a second r8klna and can confirm the same behavior. I moved to the...
Are you planning to feed the enphase combiner into the generator input of the megarevo so that you can run the megarevo off-grid and provide power into the barn? Or is this a peak shaving battery and not really for battery backup? Haven't messed with ac coupling a lot. As I think you already...
I’m home now, this is what I use:DSD TECH SH-U11 USB to RS485 RS422 Converter with FTDI FT232 Chip Compatible with Windows 10, 8, 7, XP and Mac OS X https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B416CPK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_lGMzdi17w5W7j
Fwiw Mine is running in peak shift mode where it does not back feed the grid during the day and will charge the battery overnight.
I’ve got aftermarket CT’s on it now but fairly certain I had to install them backwards to make it work right. I believe the software is wrong inside the machine.
I...
I’m fairly certain I had to install my CT’s backwards for things to work right. Graph looks weird because of it but peak shift mode with anti reverse mode enabled zeroes out my meter now.
Does your firmware give you the option of changing the ratio for the CT meter? In the recent firwmare I loaded on my r8klna I can, so I was able to use enphase 2500:1 ct's. Of course I needed two because I have split phase, sounds like you are single phase. I believe 1000:1 was the original that...
Well that seems like quite the oversight. Do you have a contact to report the bug to? I know they will want access to your inverter instead of spending the time to setup their own lab to troubleshoot it which is annoying.
I think we shouldn't discount the possibility Megarevo has it backwards in software. I agree based on your chart it's correct the way you have it wired. Take a look at mine though, shows I'm exporting a bunch of power. When in fact my electricity meter shows I'm exporting ~2kwh a day. Looks like...
