Sorry, but I don't understand why the total thickness of a 4 parallel connected 50Ah cells should be 187mm. The thickness of a single cell is 11.2mm, so a stack of 4 cells would be 44.8mm, less than 2 inches. Adding the separators, it's reasonable to have a total thickness of less than 4 inches...
