Ok, think I have fixed it, so I came across this article:
https://solis-service.solisinverters.com/en/support/solutions/articles/44002308454-hybrid-3ph-meter-on-a-1ph-system
It's regarding a hybrid inverter but intrigued if it would work and it seems to be!
So I connected the live and neutral...
Hi,
I've just recieved my new Solis AC Coupled inverter, I'm just going over the installation but the guide seems to reference connecting the Inverter to the Acrel meter with an RJ45 connection. To my surprise it only came with a two pin cable (red and black) and what I believe to be a 3 phase...
Thanks, I found a youtube video for a a different Solis Inverter/meter that suggests A is red and B is black so I'll try that. Any idea's if this meter should work with single phase? From a manual I found about it it may work...
Hey. Just fitted a Solis-RAI-3K-48ES-5G inverter and Pylontech US3000C batteries to my home with existing Solar, I’ve noticed on my IHD or Bright app it seems if the solar changes or power usage in the house changes it can take a while for the inverter to notice and adjust what it’s doing...
Sorry to bring this up again but did this come back for you? Where in the app can I find it? Im also on Agile and have been manually inputting it into the Inverter itself which is getting tedious so if I can do it through the app that would be excellent.
Infact I think I found it in Services > Local Operation > Connect With Wifi > Login (obviously connected to it via the wifi) > Settings > Installer (Password: solis123) > Coupled Mode setting > Time Charging. Though on mine it only shows one of the start/end times and if I try to edit the times...
Ok. So I managed to get it powered on by using port 12 and 13 on the meter, however it’s not picking anything up. Looking at the diagram in my first post should I try jumping 12 to 1 and 13 to 4?
Thanks, I've now spoken to the people I purchased it from and going to ask if they could send me a 1 phase meter (as that is what I purchased). Unfortunately there is little to no instruction on Solis' side despite it being them who have a 1 phase/3 phase varient, I suspect they've probably not...
