3000 Growatt, 1200w panels, and Gyll batteries all arrived and went together without issue. I had SOK’s on order, but shipping dates kept getting moved. Signature had the Gylls here in 4 days.
Ground mount panels can tilt for the season, and the GW setup is the same as a hand truck, only in a...
I’m planning 4 x 305w panels, specs
VOC 39.9
VMP 32.3
ISC. 9.76
In series, that’s 159.6v/9.76A
Series/parallel gives 79.8V/19.52A
I assume the 100/50 would work as minimum, and the 150/45 would work and offer a little expansion.
My confusion is the 79.8V X 19.52A = 1557 watts, which is over...
I’m copying Will’s 2000/24 system, with a few changes. 1220 watts solar in series/par with total of 79.8V 18.9A, running 60ft to Victron 150-60. Giandel 3000w 24v inverter. 1. Will dropped battery protect from his system, so inverter fuse needed. What size fuse- at battery or closer to inverter...
Curious if everyone with a GW 3000 has a setting 24? It’s in the manual, but my unit skips it. It has to do with bonding ground, and that’s the only issue I’m having with my setup..I have a open ground on my AC out. Ground is fine in utility mode, gone on battery. I’m not sure if missing that...
Thanks for ad, forum is great resource, and I’ve gone from noob to dangerous ? Plan is 1000w solar to use at home, then transfer to rv. The AIO MPP seemed a good choice, but I don’t want to risk issues I can’t fix. Titan was next, but a July backorder has me leery for support issues. Right now...
My 1220 watts of panels in series have a VOC of 160, and VMP of 129, but I can’t cipher the VDC. The GW says it needs 150 VDC to start, and MPPT range is 120-250 VDC. Not sure how to compute VDC for my panels, as it isn’t mentioned. Besides a brain, what am I missing??
