I have a Kubota BX25D with a 60" Mid mount mower. Machine has been awesome and worked well for us. Only issue was a rod connecting the HST pedals to the HST came loose, and it is in an awful location to refit the locking nut. I call it my diesel Swiss Army knife. Only costs me diesel and time now.

Looking nice. Did you get the USB adaptor at all, you'll need it to program the Multiplus with the ESS assistant in VE Config. I'm guessing the second Multiplus is going to assist the first one, or are you doing parallel operation/split phase?

Do you have anything connected between the shunt and the battery. If so you will have a battery drain that is not captured by the shunt as a load and will not adjust the SOC.

Thanks for the response. As it was next to a 110,000 litre tank I was thinking of using tank level sensors but haven't found anything that works well with that volume. Main reason I was looking at the Povo pack Cerbo. Will add a smartshunt and a 3rd cable to the mix.

What communication standard would the PV and Multiplus be using to control the PV inverter? if it can't control on the AC out by frequency shifting then that will be a challenge to me as the PV and Multiplus will be ~40m apart in my desired installation.

There is a Mueller BMS that is made in Australia for a 4s 12V system which is supposed to be quite good. If you upgrade to 8 cells you could do 12V at 560AH.

I think the main issue is not that the inverter itself is compliant but rather that Victron have not made any application to the CEC for approval for this inverter to interact with the grid. In my opinion the CEC is a body that really should be given a new mandate as they seem to offer opinions...

Depending on your grid tied inverter there is usually a phase imbalance in domestic housing where 3 phase is being used. You will find that one of your phases is doing the lions share of the work when it comes to providing power to your house. You may be able to battery back up this phase. Best...

Yes this is similar to what I am thinking, except for figuring out the grid protection relay. There may also be an ~40m cable run between the Fronius and the Victron gear as the house will most probably get the grid connected stuff while the 14m x 14m shed and awning gets the offgrid gear.

Hi there In Australia there is a device called a catch relay, which kicks in when your solar generation or export gets over a certain amount. Its simple and doesn't require a lot of work. There must be something similar overseas?
