Incomplete system: Four 100 w 5.5 amp panels, one SOK 100ah battery, two cheap charge controllers that I'm afraid to connect to my battery, I think my $70 inverter is 1500w. I live in Iowa, and winter is sometimes grey for days, so I was thinking about getting another SOK 100ah battery to connect in series for 24v , cant decide what controller to buy. I watched the charge controller show for beginners, that show reminded me that will likes 24 volts, and I figured maybe I could swing it for my first system. but I need to choose a controller, and I don't want to screw up anything, and I want to spend as little as possible.
