I'm building a semi off grid small trailer. I have 4-1000 amp hr batteries..and a 2000 watt inveter. Also there is a ac circuit box installed... I want to be able to charge batteries with house current and also solar. I also want to be able to have a switch so I can use inverter or shore line...

Advice please I'm building a off grid cabin in the woods and will be powering it with 12VDc. I plan to position my solar panels out in the field because of the tree cover near the cabin. Can I run maximum length of wire from panels to a charging station. Have 2 batterys..Charge my battery there...
