Just purchased a 2000 watt Renogy Inverter. I believe I should be running 1/0 to batteries. The cables that came with inverter are two combined AWG 4's for pos and neg. My question is, does two AWG 4's combined equal 1/0?

If you have a MT50 monitor do you also need a Battery monitor? If so why?

That is my confusion. Manual says 1/0 and the cables that came with inverter are doubled up 4's. Does that equal 1/0?

12v, inverter is 1 foot from batteries. Also combined wires are inside one connector. (cables)

If your app from your charge controller shows everything going on with batteries do you need a shunt monitor?
