Well, here in Western Washington on the west slopes of Mt Rainier I found solar tracking a must. Trees to east limits me to 5 hours in the winter. Mounting panels on a polar mount configuration is simple and 16 cycles @ 9.2sec every 15 min works well. Can’t use the sun for tracking around here.
Here is a simple diagram connecting panels in series and parallel. Regardless however you install your the panels + and - should always indicate the same polarity on your volt meter. Question - Is your voltmeter RMS
