The test report of LF280K-VE Matched/Batched Grade A cells was showing 314ah for 8 cells purchased from Luyuan through Amy.
I'm really interested to know from those who have used these cells for about two years or thereabouts (it could be a higher or a lower capacity but must be a...
Nice work.
I didn't set the dip....
Is my issue of not able to get my JK PB2A16S20P to charge my battery to 3.40v bulk and 3.35v float related to dip settings as well?
We only set the CAN PROTOCOL 003 and it communicated with my Growatt
In another thread, some people are using ghost battery kits to push the charging to the end because the coulomb counter of the JK PB2A16S20P has caused the charging to stop prematurely.
Going for these kits should be my last option. Let me still try other options available......
280ah testing 314ah as shown above and I wish to find out from those who have used this cells for about two years now. Does this 314ah capacity reduce or fall back to 280ah with time?
I don't know how true it's but I heard that the capacity will eventually fall back to 280ah with time. If this...
My newly installed jk pb2a16s20p is showing temperature sensor abnormal on the app.
My hardware ver is V15A. Software ver is V15.26
What could be the issue?
I've just installed a new Jk pb2a16s20p with a hardware ver V15A and software ver V15.26 but after the installation, I saw the temperature sensor abnormal showing on the app. There's -40°C showing on the screen (display). I've unplugged and plugged the 4 cables attached to the temperature sensor...
I used the 200A breaker I ordered from Amy alongside the 16pcs of 304ah cells with the 2awg silicone cable without the ferrules.
I did a pull out test and they were firm. I'll pull out 100A to check if it heats up, when I receive the Jk inverter temperature sensor cable replacement.
I believe...
My JK bms is reading 54.36v
Measuring with multimeter, individual cells read 3.202v.
I tested the wiring by measurements , the last one gave 51.26v but when I plug the cables into the Jk bms and start the bms, the app display in my phone is showing 54.36v.
What could be the problem?
I was surprised because all the cell's qr codes I've been scanning has been given me values for the energy and the capacity.
I wanted to know if someone else has experienced this before and also to find out if it was normal or there was a foul play by the seller.
Without going through this route, there is no other way I can get the JK PB2A16S20P BMS to charge to 3.40v bulk and 3.35v float while on communication with my Growatt inverter?
My jk bms is reading 54.36v on my phone but testing each of the wire, everything read correctly, the last reading on the cable was 51.26v as I was testing each wire.
I tested the individual cells using multimeter and I got 3.202v
What could make the bms on my phone to read 54.36v instead of 51.26v?
It's Jk-PB2A16S20P.
Do you mean I should set the bulk and float charging on the inverter?
I was thinking whenever communication protocol is being used, it's only the bms that would send the command to the inverter, telling it the voltage to stop charging.
I was surprised when the inverter...
I think the settings between OVP, RCV, SOC 100% and OVPR are done in sequence. Otherwise the sending will fail.
I can remember the sequence.
I just hope Steve's settings will work
Getting what I'm paying for at a reasonable price and telling me the truth about the product I'm buying is what matters to me.
Why all these lies about grade A cells?
How do you distinguish a scammer from a honest seller?
I bought Jk bms from a seller. He later asked for my company website. I didn't respond. He asked again today. I was wondering what he wants to do with my company website.
If I connect 130ah 24v lithium cells in series and the output cables (main positive and negative) length to the battery terminals are not equal, what is the effect?
I mean, if the positive cable is longer than the negative cable but the same 4awg...
While paralleling two batteries, I understand...
Sorry for bringing my issue here. I started a thread with it but I didn't get the response.
People that are using jk inverter bms (Jk-PB2A16S20P) should help me on how to charge my 1PS16 lifepo4 battery configuration to 3.4v (balance start voltage) and 3.35v float voltage.
I'm using the bms with...
@ prosier.
You're using Jk-PB2A16S20P and you were able to charge your battery to 3.40v.
Can you show me your settings?
Does your bms comm with your inverter?
If yes, what type of inverter are you using?
I went further to check reading of individual cells with multimeter and 10 cells were reading 3.203v each. 4 cells were reading 3.202v each while 2 cells were reading 3.201v each. Total 51.24v.
I just installed Victron BMV 712 and I've not set it yet and the reading was 51.21v.
I switched on the...
Thanks for your response.
I think my case is different from your illustration. To my understanding, your explanation has to do with paralleling two battery banks.
My case is just a single bank of 130ah 24v wiring in series. I don't have any intention of paralleling it with another bank.
Due to...
From your capacity test results, the 280ah was actually testing 306ah and I want to ask, will the 306ah capacity remain till the battery lifespan start dropping?
I was told that if you purchase Grade A 125ah cell for example and the actual testing capacity from the test gives 130ah, it will...
Could someone please give me the correct wiring diagram for Jk PB2A16S20P?
#1: 2 black and 5 red cables
#2: 2 black and 4 red cables
#3: 2 black and 5 red cables
#4: 2 black and 4 red cables.
I want to wire 1p16s Eve cells.
All the wiring guide I've seen so far in this platform seems to have 2...
From your experience, do you think your actual testing 306ah capacity gotten from the 280ah you purchased will remain till the battery lifespan start dropping?
I think people that have used similar products for some times now should be able to tell if the capacity has dropped to the original...
I will like to have the Andy's video.
If I can get 3.40v (54.4) as bulk charging and 3.35v (53.6) as float charging, I will be happy.
At the moment, the charging only stop at 3.31v (52.9) and my Growatt record 100%
I need help on how to get the correct settings for my jk inverter bms with Growatt inverter to move the charging to 55.2v bulk charging and 53.6v float charging.
The inverter stopped charging when the battery voltage got to 3.32v as recorded by the bms.
You said there should be a copper crimp ring on the end of the silicone wire to go into the breaker.
Please, can I see the picture for better understanding.
Thanks
Did your test report exceed the actual capacity?
I'm really interested to find out if the exceeded capacity will eventually fall back to the original capacity.
For example, you order 280ah and the test report said 310ah. Will the 310ah eventually fall back to 280ah?
If yes, how long?
