Worth mentioning that the whole reason I am trying to do this is in hope to get a Lead Acid option from the Battery section. I do not see one. when I purchased it I was told it supports lead acid batteries.

NOOOO.!!!! I so hope you are not right....I specifically asked that it needs to be able to support lead acid batteries... Does Solis support downgrading firmware? I am not sure that I will be able to get anywhere with the supplier as far as changing the inverter. It has been over a year now...

Thank you for your reply. That dongle looks like the wifi stick hanging off the bottom of the inverter. Is that it or something different?
