My setup will be in an out building all off grid. I planned to run a panel box off the inverter, then run outlets. Recently I saw on Youtube that for the off-grid EG4 600xp vs same in Hybrid I would need a transfer switch between the inverter and panel box? Is that correct?

I am new at all of this.The more I read the more questions arise. Here is one. I purchased an EG4 8k 48 volt off grid inverter. I am told that I must install a transfer switch between the inverter and my panel box. Where do I purchase this, what is the best brand, and how do you wire it up?

I will have 4 ground mounts, each holds 4 panels for a total of 16. Do I need a combiner box before I run the wires to the inverter?
