The product may have potential in the future, but I do not have the time or the money to be someone's guinea pig. The EG4 stuff seems to have a pretty good track record right now; but has not been out there long enough for any long term feedback.
I am looking to upgrade my 24 volt system (Growatt 3K) to get built in split phase. I was leaning towards the EG4 6000XP with an EG4 PowerPro Wall Mount Battery. All the reviews and specs look great. Total cost $5,200 +/-. Then I came across the BatteryEvo Walrus all in a single case for...
I have a Growatt 3K 24 Volt System that has 4 12v AGM batteries configured S/P
I want to upgrade to LITime LifePo Batteries.
I can get 24v 100AH 100 amp BMS on sale for $516.71 or 24v 200AH 200 amp BMS for $1,409

@benmilner
I am 30 minutes away from you. I would be happy to run a Univix unit in place of my Growatt for 30 days are report back to this thread. I am currently running 4 of your 12v AGM batteries in my system as well.

I have a Growatt 3000 LVM hooked up to two 12 volt AGM 250 AH batteries in series for 24 volts. I also have 1400 watts of solar panels connected to it. I have been running in SBU mode with several critical loads on the inverter for several weeks.
When running in this mode my TACO heating...
I had 3 Arc Fault breakers and 3 GFI breakers. I replaced all 6 breakers with standard breakers and down stream, put GFI outlets on all 6 circuits. I think think this will cover all safety issues. This is how my other homes have been configured as GFI outlets were cheaper than GFI breakers...
Update:
I reset my Growatt to factory defaults and made Ian's suggested changes. My settings pre & post reset were identical. While doing this it dawned on me based on Ian's previous comments that my panels might not be creating enough voltage to satisfy the MPPT's requirements. I had...
