Ok thanks. Because i already have the growatt 48v and i just got 4 more 100w panels, i will try and see if i can bring all 8 100w 12v panels. If i put them 4s2p, ...would i have aprox ~160v of open current? Is this correct?

Hi, im looking at specs on my growatt, preparing, and gathering all necesary info before traveling. *On this unit the pv array mppt voltage range is 120vdc~250vdc* does this mean with 4 100w, 12v solar panels it will not work?

That would be great!! And thanks for the explenation. All Ive seen available are 72v lithium bateries. Ive checked several websites. Would it be posibble to power my system with one of these, all though i wouldnt use all 72v?

Also, im curious,.. why with car bateries one needs so many more amp hours? Do they die faster? And are amp hours added between bateries lets say , example, 4 x 12ah bateries make 48ah? Just a question, because i volts can be added, or watts added depending on sieries or parellel conections...

Ok thanks. I will definetly be tied to the grid.the only need i have this for is to get through the hours that the power goes out. I've checked in diffrent sites for bateries shipped directly to cuba. All are 72v 40ah. Most of these are for electric bikes or scooters.

I guess most are the acid bateries which are ajustable/ refilable. 80/100/120ah. I will look for what is sugested.

Lol, i pray to find what i need. But most likely will find 12 or 24v car or bus batteries. I would just buy a requiered batery from here and bring it but from what i see they are very heavy. On top of the fact that i didnt know what would be necesary.

For a period of 6 hours, I figure the fridge will consume about 100w max, fans 150w, and several low wattage lightbulbs another 50 watts. Does this seem resonable? Thanks for your time and input, so very much apreciated.

Im wondering if this is a good start to make it work, with bateries that i will find, string together overthere. Sun is constant and very strong at the house!
