I have always been into Solar and battery backups.
My first ever system was a dead car battery I managed to get working again with a 100w Panel I found cheap near me and a 1500w modified sine wave inverter installed into an old toolbox.
a good few years later I bought myself an Allpowers power station and 60w panel used mainly for camping although I found this too limiting for anything more than a night or 2.
I have limited real-world experience however would love to learn more and hopefully one day build a full off-grid system.
