I just replaced the bms without removing the wires from the battery, just the the harness connections and everything is looking g fine now with the new bms..

No I did not use a precharge resistor. The inverter was burned due to overload issue, the electrician upon opening up the inverter showed me the burnt mosfets. So I bought a similar inverter and connected it and then immediately I turn on the inverter the clicking sound from the bms starts.

What is the best replacement for a JBD Bms?

I have encountered a new problem the BMS keeps clicking immediately I turn on inverter? Please what be the cause and solution for this?

Sorry I accessed it via parameter view and edited nominal capacity to be 280ah and it has reflected... @MisterSandals

Under parameters setting I can see where to edit it, I attached the screenshot in this reply

Do I need to update the figures in nominal capacity and cycle capacity? It's showing 51ah for nominal capacity and 280ah for cycle capacity @MisterSandals
