If I have a MPPT charge controller and one AGM SLA battery rated at 30amp max charge rate do I need to limit charge rate? Or do MPPT have an algorithm that can test for best charge rate??
Also If I upgrade to 2 AGM SLA batteries in parallel, and they are both rated for 30amp max charge...
I thought it would be 800w/24v =33amp.
I have (8)100w panelles, I am daisy chaining every 2 12v panels making them 24v, than every 2 pair is going into a wire to charger. Sorry I am not very good at asking what I am trying to accomplish..
So It will work, I have 2 other quick questions, what awg wire would you recommend for input of 800w@24v?? And would it be possible for me to add 2 more pannels or would the amps fry my charge controller??
