    280ah battery build w/ Batrium

A little update -- after 4 months on a cargo ship my equipment showed up in the Magellan Strait (Punta Arenas, Chile). I just got it setup and its running better than expected. I have 8 x 460w JA solar panels on a rail mount system on my roof (25 degs angle for 51 deg south latitude). I have it...

    280ah battery build w/ Batrium

Power to the 48v > 24v step down which powers batrium. It the shunt trips then the battery is completely turned off. There is two inline 3x20mm fuses to protect.

    280ah battery build w/ Batrium

I am working on building an off-grid solar system for a cabin and just got my FIRST-ever battery built. I ordered 16 3.2v 280ah prismatic EVE cells from Docan Tech. They arrived from Houston, TX in excellent condition. Were charged to ~3.29v (+/- 15mv). I topped balanced with an iCharger X6 and...

    Off-grid cabin in Southern Chile

I am planning an off-grid system for a cabin I am building with my partner in Southern Chile (53.1638S latitude) and am looking for some feedback. Mostly for use in the austral summer (Nov-Mar) when sun rises at 5am and sets at ~11pm. Basic specs: 48V 2380 LiFePO4 280ah battery Batrium BMS...
