A lot to digest. My concern with premade is I don't want a $1500 anchor. All of the brands I've seen are laser welded cells. So yes we can open the box and change the bms that's good but if just 1 cell goes out it is essentially a big nothing. While I am hope full that the 5 year warranties...

the only thing close I could find was on Noah Ark list of mfg's he had a picture of calb cam series but aluminum case only show up in 72ah & 80ah. Can't tell if the vent is the exact same or not. And the calb terminals are slightly different...

Contemplating a DIY build for 36volt golf cart as I don't see any premade that are serviceable and or afforable. My first question is does anyone recognize or know anything about this cell I found on amazon...

Ok I asked because the top left cell looked like it had more space and then cell's were not lined up. But could have just been that way you set them in box.

It was one Will ripped apart figuratively and literally. Lugs were soldered not crimped and the leads were soldered to bus bars. After wills review, they reportedly changed the soldering and actually went to bolted bus bars and crimped leads per tear downs that happened afterwards by others...

This is cheapo sealed lifpo4. No way to test individual cells and does not have bluetooth to communicate each cell voltage. All of which is why I'm trying to put it through a couple paces on the front end. I've been tending it and checking voltage constantly in case low voltage cut off...

Purchased a 100ah battery. Charged it up. Ran inverter and electric heater and took it down about 65 amp hours (per victron bluesmart charger). Brought back to full charge and now I've drawn down again. This time it's down to about 11.26 volts with load. So I'm in the last bit of remaining...

This is better than Dallas. Where does it stand.

I still like the look of the battery line and the unique features. I'm going to keep an eye on them. Some day soon this cart will get a make over. I'll keep you all posted on what battery I go with and how it performs.

Epoch Does your warranty require an epoch charger? If one buys epoch battery and charger does the charger get the same warranty as battery? Any discounts or coupons you would like to offer us here at DIYSOLARFORUM?
