It's not complete yet, but I have it setup in my off-grid garage running my deep freeze until its time to move it into the RV.

Through the BMS

There is charge protection only from the higher volt charger. The lower voltage charger should cut off before any runaway happens, I have a separate relay I might use.

I made a better diagram. I am bypassing the bms for bulk charging and for the Inverter. One of the chargers will shut down at a lower voltage to prevent it from over charging the battery. I have top balanced the LifePo4 and it is staying balanced.

Why do people put fuses and circuit breakers between the battery and the solar charge controller? If the fuse or breaker pop, wont it burn out the charge controller as well? I can see why a manual shutoff is helpful but not the other two.

Can I connect two shunts one from the P- from the BMS to the 12v buck converter and another from battery- to the bus bar and connect the battery monitor to both shunts to get a total in and out amp rating?

Thank you. That is what I was wondering. The 12v converter will need to connect to the bus bar with an SSR in between.
