Installed (3) Battleborn GC2 batteries in the front storage compartment of our Airstream. Added a Renogy 50 amp dc2dc charger with mppt solar charge controller to the empty battery box. Now we have roof solar and two options for portable panels: Zamp port and Renogy mppt.
Current or Future Solar Power System
1) Add EG4 6000XP all-in-one inverter to the Airstream coupled to a DIY 48V battery.
2) Build RV port next to our house and add solar panels to the roof of the structure.
