My husband and I have minimal experience with electronics - changing out light fixtures and fans, switches and plugs. My husband has a greater grasp on these types of things (engineering brain), but neither of us have any experience with solar and we are looking to move to our off grid cabin and replace our generator with a solar power system.
Current or Future Solar Power System
Currently we are on grid. Our off-grid tiny house will be less than 500 SF when complete, and will need enough power for a mini-split, fridge, washer (no dryer yet - but maybe eventually) Starlink, basic lighting/computer needs.... and a water pump that we don't have yet. We know we want 48V batteries and bifacial solar panels... that's about all I know, lol.
