DO NOT ground your panels to the negative PV
DO run a ground from the panels back to the main panel ground. This is for not only static build up and fault protection, but will eliminate the AC output from the inverters you're feeling. I had the same thing happen and the manual does warn to only...
It has been a while since I posted and I was able to top balance and tonight I was testing my lower limits of the inverter SOC. I was watching the battery voltage with a volt meter while having a 2000 watt load going. The BMS test said it reached 0% as the inverters said, but I was barely in the...
Did you mean you would need a 200A main panel and a 100A sub panel? You can't get 200A from a 100A panel.
My place has a 200A on the main house with a 100A sub panel in the garage where the inverters are. I would just have to run the A/C output of the inverters over to the Main panel to power...
So I found the flashing 2p1 means there was a battery alarm. Going into BMS_test, i see adress 0 and 2 have gone over voltage and shutdown charging. All addresses show 100% in BMS test. These batteries are new and havent rally had any full cycles on them.
PS. So I guess the flashing hexagon...
So I didn't get a call today, but it's probably unnecessary. After sitting under the solar all day with no load, I think the inverters finally stopped charging the batteries. I've been watching the status via my WatchPower app and finally saw both inverters say 100% and no power being delivered...
Ok. Something else since the firmware upgrade. I dont hear the capacitors charge when I turn the first battery on anymore. Before there were several clicks as it loaded the inverters caps. That's gone.
The system is so new I dont hac=ve a before to compare to. I just noticed that it hasnt ever fully charged. Whe I did the USE/USE at 58.4 bulk and 54.4 float, things stopped charging and seemed to be working normal.
I've never seen these inverters not charging when in EG4/USE even with all my...
