ok, went into node red, serial and clicked serial, and selected usb0... now looks as if the mqtt is not connecting? just a thought as it stays on connecting.

I’m looking to make a lipo battery 48v using this BMS, will this work with a Solax Su5000? I understand that pylontech batts work with this inverter.. what flavour would I need to buy? The Canbus or rs485? Thanks in advance

updated the serial port to usb 0 and manually started mqtt (now showing connected) still no data on the grafanna page .. looks like we are talking ;)

So will the Sofar image work with Solis? Not getting any readings, not sure if that's an issue with telling the pi which usb the 485 stick is using

Also which rs485 stick did you use form Amazon? Just want to make sure I get the right one, so not fighting with drivers .

Anyone on here using Lead Acid baterries with a Solis hybrid.. I'm using a bank of 3 strings of 12v Haze 100Ah AGM batteries.(12 batteries) So 48v 300Ah...never mind what I set my volts low to, the battery bank stops giving output at 47V. These batteries apparently will deep cycle down to 11v...

So when connecting this to the stick rs485, do connect A to A , B to B ? Or do they need to cross over like rs232?

so close yet so far.. all booted up, and connected as discussed. no data showing on Grafana . I have the wifi stick disconnected and I have connected straight into the molex, yellow and blue. AB to the same usb stick as you. i have tried all 4 usb ports... lsusb lists device as shown further...
