Thanks Richard. We are actually in a power cut here in Nairobi right now, and the house is actually able to draw current from the inverter, but only as much as the sun shines, and it is cloudy, so I can only reliably run a few low power things (like the internet I am using to write this!)...

The strange thing is, as I sit here during a total power cut, watching my Solis screen - although the main screen now shows the battery neither charging or discharging anything, and the state of charge is static at 45%, I am able to draw 1kw or so from my solar panels to run my house...

I also have a Solis 5kW hybrid inverter and 5 pylontech batteries. The batteries were charging and discharging fine until a week or two ago, and now hardly discharge at all - very similar to the other posts on this forum. Wish I could find an easy way to sort this out
