I am building a 200W 12v solar system with a 40A MPPT charge controller. I am trying to figure out what size fuse to use between my solar panels and my charge controller. I already have a 30A in-line fuse – could this work for my current setup even though my charge controller is 40A?

I have a Renogy rigid solar panel mounted to my van's roof with Z-brackets & the screws that came with them, and just noticed that one of my screws has come out. When I try to screw it back in, it won't hold. Does anyone have advice for how to fix this?? A bigger screw?

@WinnieView1 I used butyl tape under the brackets and silicone 2 on top of the brackets & screws. Is there something else you could recommend I put on top of the brackets to ensure that the seal is super tight? I just looked up EternaBond & apparently it bonds to anything but silicone ... :(
