Background
1980's built 600 +/- 200 watt wind turbines for sailboats. Paid $250 for a 60 watt ARCO panel.
2001 moved into motor coach full time for 14 yrs, added PV as funds allowed.
Now tractor is main system and is used almost daily
Current or Future Solar Power System
Garden tractor currently using 4 T105's at 24 volts with a 400 amp speed controller driving a 3 hp series wound golf cart motor charged with a 300 amp 32 volt solar panel with low cost charge controller. tractor has not been plugged in to grid charger since adding PV panel. Batteries are now 4 years old and fading. Have never run out of power even on a 2 mile trip in local parade, has forklift on front, snow blade and dirt blade and the little puppy will push dirt.
Have 3 other systems a motor coach with 400 watts PV as many as 6 T105's
A tiny panel array driving the circulation pump on our wood fired hot tub,
Very small 100 amp pv panel driving 2 t 205's with no controller.
