I can only hope that will happen for me. It would be great if my 8 damaged cells were replaced, but i suspect that will not happen. Glad to hear things worked out in your favor.

3 of mine I could not ship since a post on each cell was bent into the top of the cell cracking the plastic around it and releasing the electrolyte. The cells have to remain in the upright position to prevent any more from leaking out. No shipper will take that.

Great idea, that way you don't have to deal with the disposal of the damaged cells. But when you have cells that have hazmat issues (leaked out some electrolyte and still have some left inside) shipping really not possible and delivering them yourself, not an option.

I'm out almost $1000, while for some that might not be too bad of a hit, being on a fixed income it hits me pretty hard. I intended to use 8 of them to build a pack for someone's camper, and use the profit from that to pay for the 4 I planned on keeping and using. Didn't quite work out as planned.

I've been waiting for 2 months now for some sort of response, have messaged every 2 weeks, and have not heard anything. I ordered 12 cells, 4 can be used 8 are damaged, 3 were dropped in their posts and cracked the seals at the top and electrolyte leaked out remaining 5 have damage to their tops...

Ordered 12 with Michael Caro, received 12. 8 damaged and 4 good. 3 had the terminals damaged and they tore a hole in the 3 cells. Electrolyte leaked out in the shipping box. (can see stains on the box), 1 has a damaged corner and the others have dents that can compromise the inside of the cells...

I have a DLS-45 and have turned down the output voltage on it so that is it putting out 14.6vdc. I was not comfortable with the extra tenth of a volt and did not want to cause any damage to the cells. There is nothing I can find for changing the low trigger of 12.8 vdc, that must be hard coded...
