The way to solve this problem is to have ANYONE in the company to be able to answer calls and log in a sales order. There is no rocket science in that job. Now with Support, Anyone can answer the phone and MAYBE its a simple question that the janitor can answer. (Have you read some of these...
Okay, I carefully planned out my solar set up. Removing and relocating some items on top of the roof. I have three 220watt solar panels. I bought Will's favorite CC (EPEVER Tracer 4215bn) and figured I was all set running the panels in serial with a VOC of 22volts and Short Circuit current...
Let him come on up to the Northeast where the sun might not shine for a week, and most camping spots are under trees. Solar mega projects are for the desert. And who really want to live in the desert?
You would have to ask:
The 220watt is Voc=20.52, the Vmp= 17.52, The 100 watt is Voc=24.3, the Vmp= 20.4 ..
That seems weird to me that the 100watt would have a great Vmp and Voc than the 220watt?? Is that normal??
Oh and 12volts battery
Ok, I've searched the forum, Searched EPever Website. Is there a way to set the clock on the Tracer Remote Meter. It is set to January 2021. I don't want to relive 2021 again. It was horrible!!
Thanks in advance
Rick
Well, I read it that you can over panel to 1560 watts. Not sure how much the cows would add coming home. But it is certainly a 40 amp controller in 12 volts. The "load" terminals are rated at 20amps. I would think more than 1500watts would be hard with one set of equal panels on an RV. But...
I am building up my new rig and installed a 300ah/12volt LiFePo4 battery first. While waiting delivery of the mounting hardware I went on a camping trip and by mistake left a 12volt light on in the camper. When I came back the Victron shunt said the battery was at 4%. (Did I do it any harm?)...
I'm setting my "new to me" RV up slowly with Solar. To move it along faster I have (2) 220watt panels going on the 2 biggest open areas of the roof. The room left on the roof will handle another (2) 100 watt panels when the money bank fills back up. But when I do that, can I use a smaller...
Is there any reason not to mix bifacials and mono, as far as setting them up in series? I am building my new rig with three 220watt panels, but the brand I bought sent me 2 and the third is on back order. So I have a loose Bifacial 220 watt I could mount up (Almost the same size). The VOC are...
Wondering if anyone knows if there is any difference in BlueTooth dongles. I have a Renogy Rover with a dongle that I am putting in storage. I have the Victron Shunt which has a dongle available(which I don't have) and it looks identical to the Renogy. Anyone know if they are the same? Can...
I was wondering about that, I see many "MPPT" little square controler for under $50. Thats what I paid for my PWM 3 years ago. I didn't think prices had come down that far!!
Ok, I have one lonely little 100ah LiFePo4 in my tiny camper with 200wats on the roof tilted towards the south. (I'm in NC). The battery has no parasitic draws that I can tell, and everytime I check it it is at 100%. The question is: Will the daily application of solar charge to the battery...
I guess if you think about it, it's like the RV Converter on shore power and the solar charge controller working together. They are both sending power to the battery. The battery decides which "Straw" it want to drink from. If its full, then it pushes back and nothing comes through the straw...
