Oblah di Oblah'da

Background
Basically as mentioned above flooding brought me to off grid living. At first I had one regular car battery - which I had to lug to the neighbours every couple days for charging, and an old car headlamp on a long wire for light for to get thru the winter, it was.... wow. Yeah. Rough.
Still, better off than some, so there is that.
Anyway, come Spring I bought a cheap made/expensive Colman 75w panel w/ a tiny charge controller, and a deep cell marine battery.
and after some slow-ass realization that this whole "off grid thing" is actually pretty damn great... I told my electric company to kiss my power bills goodbye and jumped ALL IN on Off Grid/Homesteading/permaculture ifestyle going forward.
I bought the rest of the above mentioned items as I could afford, and continue to do so.
Here looking for advice and community.

Been following your Youtube for about six months. ....sure wish the algorithms had thought of that a couple years ago! lol
Anyway, great content well presented, thanks and cheers from Canada.
Current or Future Solar Power System
40amp controller
One 235w panel not currently in use
One 300w panel
1500w 3000peak Cobra inverter
One 145?amp hour high temp battery in use by North Star (second hand)
Pair of 6v : which I bought new, however I didn't know what I was doing, and in a panic after flooding, the store didn't tell me I had to fill them, and I didn't know to asks, they stopped working. So I'm not sure if i destroyed them or not yet.
