I am an amateur hobbyist trying to expand reliability of my electrical grid service through the addition of solar. I was mentored in electronics by my grandfather who was an electrician. I have setup several systems for off grid applications, mostly for remote telecom sites.
Current or Future Solar Power System
Three stings of 4 x 235w PV combined to Schneider Conext system. Conext MPPT 60 160 or 100 600. Schneider XW Pro inverter tied to APC UTS 10BI. Batteries include two banks of Deca 8L16.
