Do those fans exit air or intake air? I see what looks like an intake panel on the other side of the inverter. I found the specs on that fan and compared it to a Noctua fan 80mm. The Noctua is only half the airflow so it's a no-go.
Back on topic...here is the data for the fans in the EG4 6000XP:
...and here is a Noctua 120mm fan that closely matches the performance of the stock fan:
Just 3D print this adapter and you are good to go as long as the cabinet is 5 inches wide:

I use the broadlink model that has temp and humidity sensors. It's the RM4 Pro. Knowing temp and humidity in each room opens all kinds of control options.
I just gave you the solution. One external plenum and one upsized fan. :fp2
NF-S12A = 107 m3/hr = 1.8 m3/min
Standard fan = 2.18 m3/min
higher static pressure capability, a fraction of the amps, and a fraction of the noise level
What single phase load would be 4000 watts? Load imbalance is not a big deal. Move your loads around to bring the balance closer. I’ve seen an imbalance on three phase commercial buildings but not in a residential panel that couldn’t be solved by moving a couple of breakers.
Nope. I replaced a few light bulbs with LED and added some motion switches to completely offset the idle usage. I'll bet you can find 100 watts that you are wasting in your house that could be "donated" to a valuable inverter.
Yes, it has a higher static capability. Until we test what the actual static resistance is, we won't know. My first test will be my "silencer" design for the stock fan.
I solved the internet issue by going with Starlink for my WiFi. All my devices are WiFi based and I have never given a second thought to “mother ship” connections. It’s an unfounded fear imho. One house in Vegas and another one in Costa Rica. I can control everything in both from anywhere’s in...
In a way, more wattage = more inverter component temp. The real answer is to use different fans to quiet them down. At some load based on temp, they will still be squealing at 100%. I gather that the noise is objectionable at 100% fan speed. On 3D printers, we set the max speed to 80% without...
Being a lifelong career generator guy I instantly noticed the lack of generator support in wiring diagrams and code. It jumped out at me. For your situation, why would a generator be handled any differently than a PV or a battery, both are power sources too. My $2000 Torini 8kw diesel gen is a...
Just what I was talking about when I said unfounded. Do you even use HA? My point is many important devices use the cloud AND work locally too. I use a lot of Shelly devices and have never had an issue locally with no internet and no grid. On generator my Shelly, Flo water meter, emporia system...
Good catch. The static capability is lower. It all depends on what the intake grill backpressure is...
I have also designed an adapter for the stock fan that provides a 2 1/2 hose fitting to route the air (and noise) away. Until I get my 6000XP installed and running, I can't verify that it will...
