Heat will be picked up by the heat pump water heater 20 feet away. Waste nothing. 😁
  • Post in thread: SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

It’s a 200 year old stacked stone foundation. Pretty tough to completely seal but we’re working with what we have. Heat pump water heater is already installed and running. There is no surface condensation down there, other than a few spots on the ductwork when the AC is running. I hadn’t...

Yes it looks like the SPI direction buttons are a little different. But the instruction manual is identical word for word.

SEI is about $125 cheaper on the quotes I’m getting.
  • Post in thread: SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

I had made up my mind to go with the (2) 10kw ASPs, but now my basement conditions are starting to make me question if I should be going with the (2) 12kw HESP (IP65 over IP20). My basement is pretty steady at 55ºF and 70-75% humidity. I guess I should also start thinking about IP65 batteries...

Well these are my options at this point - I am in no hurry. Waiting doesn’t bother me. 18650 store - (32) mb31 - $3087 delivered (but they have a $30 charge for estimated sales tax, I’m sure that’ll go up) Amy Wan - Shenzhen Luyuan - (32) mb31 $2800 delivered Docan USA - (32) lf304 - $2755...
  • Post in thread: CHINA kills all non Sol-Ark branded DEYE unit in the USA this morning.

Put me in the group that says if there are Deye inverters in split phase territory, that’s Deye’s fault. They should pony up a penalty to Sol-Ark and shut down the supply lines that feed gray market. Leave the consumers out of it. Terrible public relations for both Deye and Sol-Ark if true...

    Stupidly or genuinely misleading?
  • Post in thread: SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

I have a quote from Borick for the SRNE. It is $125 more than the SEI from Livefun.
  • Post in thread: SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

    That’s on Alibaba.
  • Post in thread: SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

PM sent. Interested in finding this price.
  • Post in thread: SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

Well after monitoring humidity levels in the basement, I’m more in the 80-85% range. I think I’m gonna have to build a room down there and condition it, or go IP65 rated on inverter and batteries. Back at looking at the HESP again.

So where is the most trust worthy place to buy genuine cells? Is everywhere a crap shoot?
  • Post in thread: SRNE 20KW parallel ASP journey.

Ok, totally newbie question but I am trying to figure out if these ASP 10kw would work for me. Monitoring our usage shows that we do sometimes pull as much as 80 amps. If I have 2 of these paralleled, and had no PV or battery power available, I would be able to push 63 amps in bypass from...
  • Post in thread: Future of DIY LiFePO4 looks bleak…

I’ve seen them on Alibaba and shipping on 32 cells is over $2600. Is that what you were paying?
  • Post in thread: SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

Seller on Ali is telling me this is the same as the SRNE ASP. Specs look the same, but could anyone verify that?
  • Post in thread: Future of DIY LiFePO4 looks bleak…

    These are ESS grade?
  • Post in thread: Future of DIY LiFePO4 looks bleak…

Why does that give me an advantage? You want me to drive to Georgia?
  • Post in thread: Future of DIY LiFePO4 looks bleak…

Are all their cells legit? They do have solid pricing on the mb31s
  • Post in thread: Future of DIY LiFePO4 looks bleak…

Where did you purchase from? Docan?
  • Post in thread: 200A Bypass of Sol-Ark and EG4

This is what I decided. 126 amps of bypass if good enough for my 200 amp panel.
  • Post in thread: Future of DIY LiFePO4 looks bleak…

Should I not be? This is my first DIY, so I am open to suggestions.
