Ok, so I connected the AC input and everything seem to be working good, I switch off the battery and the inverter switched right over to Grid input. I am also able to charge the battery from grid. Thank you all for your input.
The reason I stated 10 breaker is because I figure most folks know would know how a transfer switch is hooked up. The wires are removed from the breaker and connected to the transfer switch black wires.
Good day. I have a Growatt SPF 3000Tl LVM-ES and I am using it to charge 16 230ah ( Lifepo4 Cells. Today my battery voltage was 51v and my solar panel produce 11kw , my growatt UI showed that 11kw went into the battery, my question is why is my battery just shows 54v, Is this normal ?, I...
Yes, the Transfer switch is acting like a sub panel. When you say 10 circuits are removed what do you mean ? Here are some pics of the hook up. its been working fine for a while now. I am just now thinking about adding grid power to the inverter as a backup.
I have the same issue, my ShineWifi-F dongle will not allow me to connect. I have reset it, I get the blue light, when I connect to the wifi and enter : 192.168.10.100 I get This site cannot be reached,
I made a change to my Eg4 setting that seem to fix the light flickering and UPS flipping. Setting #10 is set to 120v as default, I change that setting to 127v and that seen to provide a steady voltage. Its been a few hours and no flickering or UPS clicking
I replaced my growatt 3000tl ( needed more power) with a EG4 6500, I am now getting flickering lights and my UPS keep tripping. I measure my voltage from from the inverter and its 119v, but when I measure the voltage from the outlet its between 117v to 118v. This low voltage is causing my UPS...
I am having the same issue with my eg4 6500, the low voltage is causing my UPS to trip, NEVER had this issue with my growatt, I measure the voltage from the eg4 and its only 119v. Can anyone change setting 10 on their EG4 inverter ? It will not let me change to 127v.
My current off-grid setup includes 2 EG4 6500 in split phase going to a Reliance 10 circuit transfer switch then to my main panel. I am thinking of adding Grid input from the main panel to the EG4 ( GREEN LINE) so that I can grid charge my batteries for emergencies and also for when battery...
Hi All. This is a simple diagram of my current setup. Solar/ Battery feeding power into my EG4 then to a transfer switch which is connected to 10 breaker in the panel. I am thinking of adding grid power ( Green line) to the EG4 so that I can charge the battery in case of storms or emergencies...
The Transfer switch does connect to the neutral bar. Reason for connecting the inverters to grid is to charge battery during long clouds days and also for my time of use plan where I can charge for cheap at night.
