That looks INCREDIBLE..! Amazing work, loving the OCD and thanks for sharing the "warning"... Watching Will's videos where he wears safety glasses really enforced for me that it's a mistake most people only make once. :)
Hey, I just ordered batteries from Amy 16 of the 272AH Lishen. Based on the feedback in the forum she has a good reputation and the EVE cells seem to be hard to find at the moment. No idea if I did the right thing, time will tell I guess. :)
Mine was $78 per cell including bus bars and bolts. Not including freight which was $396 to Australia. All prices USD
Anyone else had an update since ordering..? I haven't heard anything for 3 days, not sure what is normal and don't want to be impatient.. lol
Just chatted with Amy and the delay was due to the braided bus bars. I've dropped them from the order and she is shipping today. Have to say she is super responsive and helpful. Hopefully this goes well, I've got a plan to augment our house system with 36KWH of batteries next. :-)
If you buy the Daly make sure you also buy the dodgy little "display panel" as well as the touch screen. The touch display is great for seeing state and also for doing most settings. But you can't "wake up" the BMS... The little display panel can. For a few dollars well worth it. Oh and on...
I've bought some second hand cells from Ian, he is very passionate and helpful. Happily messaging me via FB to assist with the setup. I did have some issues with the balancers but honestly may well have been me wiring it up wrong. I replaced the BMS and balancers with Daly as the ones he...
Victron can do all that without canbus to batteries. Also reports live to the internet.
I'm running it now with a DIY pack.

First of all, huge thanks to this amazing community, I've been lurking away, reading and learning and finally got my system built :)
I made a mistake with the configuration of the Daly BMS and it shut down due to a low temperature event. I set it to +20c instead of -20c. And yep I know not...
No idea sorry :-( Maybe able to confirm when it arrives. But I believe it plugs into the "light" socket if that helps. There is another thread here with someone reporting they got the wake up shorting some pins.
Answering my own question thanks to the other thread :) In the settings change the time out to 15300 (or 65535) should disable the screen going to sleep. But more importantly adding the "display panel" that has a button can be used to wake up the BMS. Silly me for ordering it and thinking...
