    G'day from Australia

Hey mate, sorry I'm not really sure what I'm looking at in that pic! You would need to find some markings on it so you could google what it is. Is it connected to a 240v wall socket, it might be a charger? I had a Centurion system similar to this one in the pic, with fuses to the right above the...

    G'day from Australia

Hey Dave, sorry for the late reply mate! My kick panel is in front of the box under the lounge at floor level, like in your 2nd pic. When the step down converter was still there you opened the cover and there were 5 fuses, all the vans 12v wiring ran into the back of the converter. Yours looks...

    G'day from Australia

That's a lot to take in lol! Your van is a lot different to mine but has the same box under the couch where I put my battery and removed the step down converter. This is where I would be putting your battery as all your 12v wiring should start in that area, and also have a power 240v point? I'll...

    G'day from Australia

Hi Dave, welcome aboard. I've got a very similar van, 2001 Westport 18ft. Yours looks like it's the opposite configuration to mine? My double bed is at the draw bar and the door is at the rear. I've only been able to fit one house panel on mine (I'm guessing yours is bigger than an 18ft'r?) as...

Renogy Dc-Dc battery 20amp battery charger ignition sensor

Thanks Rbertalotto, thats exactly what I wanted to know. I like your idea with the lights but I'm thinking that tapping into a positive wire from the trailer harness might be the way to go as it works off the ignition, I'll have a look over the weekend cheers

Renogy Dc-Dc battery 20amp battery charger ignition sensor

Thanks for the reply grizzzman, I should've mentioned that I've got a victron battery protect at the start battery as back up if I forget to unplug the van when stopped for lunch etc. I guess I just want to know will it trigger the unit on as I've drawn it in my rough diagram, instead of running...

Renogy Dc-Dc battery 20amp battery charger ignition sensor

Hi all, I've got a question about the ignition wire needed to start this charger. Can I just run a small wire from the incoming positive wire which is 10mm² run from my start battery to the dc-dc charger in the van? It is connected with an anderson plug while hooked up? Will seems to say this in...
