    When i say older model, i mean 10 to 20 years old. They use a nema 14-30 plug, witch is a 4 prongs Im 65 and i never saw a 3 prongs dryer plugs. The older dryers i remember were direct connected still using 120/240 Maybe it was different in the US, im canadian.
