Thanks E. Cho, My question shows how much I don't know. What I meant is that there are Portable Power Stations (like batteries I think) that can be plugged into the wall so as to recharge or can be recharged with a solar panel or two. I will get a Kilowatt meter you mentioned. Thanks

Thanks iamrich, I'm in Southern California (lots of sun), not sure of how much power I use now (I now realize I need to do an energy audit). Not sure on the space I have, it'll be a Mobile Home I am moving into in a few months, but I think there is plenty on the roof and there are no trees or...
