Yes it does feel as if I’m being ignored. consider mine is a 5th wheel set up, what I am calling a decent load is any of the following. any one of these by itself will trip the safety, vacuum, microwave, Airconditioning (13000 btu roof). I am currently running 2 Weize 100ah batteries from...
Ok, I’m back off vacation so can join back in the conversation. Well as you know first of all it won’t even start the system up so doesn’t much matter what I am running, but here are a couple items that kill it when I get the battery running (it is 1 single rack system as previously shown...
Well I appreciate that Kolds issue has been somewhat resolved. I would however like to know about my issue. Did you test with the Victron Multiplus 2? As I stated I would, I connected my old AGM battery and my inverter fired right up. I also tried a buddies Battleborn who was in town it worked...
That would be great, I can’t seem to get past the issue I am having with the 12V version. I can during the day get the system to start up with mppt Producing solar power, but if it’s not running the battery will kick into safe mode at any attempt to start up. The other issue I seem to have is if...
I can get you a better picture tomorrow if you need me to. This is the only one on my phone. Can get you an invoice number as well if that helps. I think the order number was #SS-#14383 order date February 6, 2022, delivered Feb 11
So I am guessing you checked the other day and discovered you did not have a Victron Multiplus 2? I never heard back after you said you thought you had one.
I have people asking about the EG4 in RV forums I am in. They are the same as I was and ready to pull the trigger on the EG4. Now with the issues I’ve had they are asking me a lot of questions and weather or not they should look at something else. At this point I am uncertain how to reply as I...
And what about me? I don’t raise a bunch of hell over all of this and apparently that just leaves me in the dark? I know mine is a 12v not a 48v but I have a legitimate problem. I have sent to tech support via email and had no follow up either. Now past my 30 day return window. Below was my last...
1) correct it doesn’t start my inverter
2) are you certain they don’t? I’ve tried precharging as well but it has not helped
3) no errors in the log, unless I am somehow looking at the wrong thing. But none on any tab
from that post
The problem with everything your suggesting Hedges, the pre-charge circuit that "we think" is causing the low voltage is IN the batteries and hooking external cables and resistors up doesn't bypass that. We don't know what triggers the built in Pre-charge timer...
Sorry Gary I should have gone back and found the post, I was referencing the pre charge system because some have questioned if the 12v version has one. As for a preload test this is what I used
NTE Electronics 25W030 Cermet Wire Wound Resistor, 5% Tolerance, Axial Lead, 25W, Flameproof, 30 Ohm...
Based on your statement above
EG4 max 200amp recommended 60amp
Weize max peak 250amp allowed max 100amp
Battleborn is 100 Amp Continuous current, 200 Amp Surge Current
Victrons own battery is 100 Amp Continuous current, 200 Amp Surge Current
Both the Weize and a friends Battleborn have run...
My guess is it’s built in and I’m screwed, I’ve actually given up on trying to figure it out. It’s simple it doesn’t work, now the question is what if anything SS is willing to do.
Have been reading about some issues with the Lifepower4 and was wondering if anyone is running one with a Multiplus 2? I am having issues with the battery starting the inverter. I get a clicking in the Lifepower then it goes to safe mode without starting the inverter. If I start with shore power...
