Thanks. The Renogy 2000w inverter is a 12V. Does that mean I can't run the 2 batteries as a 24v setup?
MisterSandals: Yes their stuff is Pure sine wave. Using 2 x 12V 100ah, or 1280wh batteries from Lisuateli. Looks like I don't need a fuse for these since the 100A BMS has all of the...
Yes I see it. I have a 250amp fuse to install where they show "Master fuse" but I don't have that 1 amp in line fuse for my tiny red wire running from my Renogy battery monitor. Would either of these make any difference in seeing my 2nd battery?
I've been on here checking out some great solar setups from many people. Now that PowerStations are coming down in price, especially with Black Friday and Christmas, has anyone just gone ahead and bought one, then added solar panels to keep it charged up? I know it's not nearly as fun as...
I'm building a small system that will handle about 120w of continuous AC load in the house.
I've got 2 x 450W LONGI Panels:
And want to get the 60A MPPT Renogy Charge Controller 12-48V (Max PV input 150VDC, Max PV Power input only 800w for 12V, 1600w using 24V) with the Renogy 2000w Inverter...
That 2nd battery negative just connects to the negative of the first battery so it doesn't actually connect directly to the shunt, like all of the other negatives do. Maybe that's it, but I'm too scared to wire it any other way since I'm not sure. I still need that negative to negative on each...
Excellent, thanks for this. I'm still confused about what capacity of fuses to get. Some used a 2000w inverted and I think they used a 175 or 200amp fuse for it.
It works fine with 1 x 100Ah LIfepo4 battery connected, but when I connect 2 batteries in parallel and configure it as 200Ah, it's only showing me 50% capacity. I can't setup the batteries in Series because my Renogy 2000w interver is 12V only. An I toast? I thought it would just see 1 200Ah...
Yes that's how my connections are setup now but without the bus bars. So I have 3 cables connecting directly onto the Postive battery pole, and all of my Negatives connect directly onto the P- on the shunt. Then my parallel cables connect between both batteries just like the photo shows.
I'll...
I bought a smart battery charger for my LifePO4 100ah battery and want to make sure I'm charging it properly. The battery was shipped showing 13.0V. I charged it with the lowest setting that says 2A/5A and got to 13.4V. Then I went to the highest setting of 15A/10A and it got up to 13.9V and...
