Jayco ran 8AWG from the roof MC4s in my Jayco North Point to the basement. There was 10+ feet of spare cable tied up next to my transfer switch. Wasn't long enough but a useful start. As mentioned, this is great for lots of solar in series. Also confirming that solar on the side is irrelevant...

The 12/24V is referring to the battery side. It can handle up to 92V on the input (pv) side - you should never exceed this so important to check your panels max (open circuit) voltage. I would likely set up to have the voltage high and the current low so 3S2P for example (3 series in 2 parallel...

A "perfect" install would be a double breaker on the pv input side on both positive and negative. This is required by code in some countries, USA seems to only require a breaker on the positive wire. Make sure the current on the breaker is rated for the incoming wire size. This is very useful...

What was the date on your Fedex label creation so I can get a sense of timing from label to delivery? My order was placed 11/9, Fedex label 11/23. No Fedex update since so they are more than a week out at best.

Anyone with an ET tester know how to get past this error at startup? None of the buttons (or shift-buttons) work. Also have reached out to the seller on AliExpress. Nothing in the manual and not finding on Google.

Thanks. that was really useful LiFePO4 context. I watched the whole video but for those who just want the cell matching part, start at 1:04:40.

Wow, brand new ship in 2019. Maybe a design flaw. Very unusual to see that many containers lost in one incident. The ship turned around and docked in Japan. ONE APUS (Container Ship) Registered in Japan - Vessel details, Current position and Voyage information - IMO 9806079, MMSI 431003000, Call...

Figured this out, the 220v/110v switch at the back was set to 220v even though it included a US plug. Luckily I noticed this as the seller had no idea what was up. Once I switched it to 110v, everything was fine.
