Who is actually manufacturing this inverter?

Yeah, but it could be just an incremental amount more, so if you want to pay a little extra for the "brand name" (and the packaged product Dura sells - see what I did there?), you can do that. If you want to pick your own battery, etc., you can go with the product from Sol-Ark. I guess we'll...

Who is actually manufacturing this inverter?

Unless Sol-Ark is taking less profit on the units sold to/through Duracell in order to capitalize on the brand name and get a bit better market share and recognition so that it might pass through to Sol-Ark direct (and/or direct to installer) sales...

Who is actually manufacturing this inverter?

When I saw the Duracell offering (I'm guessing 2 weeks ago?), I sent a question to them via their Web page asking them if the inverter was a re-badged Sol-Ark. I just got an e-mail reply today (hopefully not an indication of the speed of their customer service). It read "Thanks for reaching out...

Fortress 12K Buy one get one FREE!

Sorry to contribute to the OT posts (actually, OT (car stuff) from the OT (AIO naming stuff) from the original topic (the B1G1 deal)), but... Must not be a "car guy". "Four door coupes" (a moniker I detest), have been around for some time now. I forget who started this garbage (might have been...

The new "My Sol-Ark" App and Migration to AWS is happening very soon.

Here is a reply to an update request I made of Carlos in another thread. Disappointing.

Is Sol-Ark still sending data to China?

Oh, I'm awake, thank you very much. Awake enough even to recognize a delusional political rant that belongs on some fringe political forum instead of a "solar forum"... (and no, I am not a fan of the Democrats - or any current political party, for that matter).

Is Sol-Ark still sending data to China?

I think I missed something. When did the DIY Solar Forum turn into Truth Social?

Is Sol-Ark still sending data to China?

So, Carlos: it's been 3 months since your post indicating that the switchover would be happening "very soon". Has it actually happened yet? If not, any update on when it might be happening? We now return you to your previously (un-)scheduled political ranting...

    Sol-Ark new optimizer

Just for another option, you might want to check out Enteligent's RSD/optimizers (https://enteligent.com/nmax-rsd-%2B-optimizer). Seems comparable in specs. I know that Enteligent had been "working closely" with Sol-Ark on both their RSD/optimizer and "Hybrid DC-coupled Bi-Directional Fast EV...

Sol-Ark 15K All in One Inverter Released.

Bingo. Was this 2nd quote also from a Sol-Ark recommended installer? Either way, assuming you choose this (or other) more reasonable quote, and you end up being satisfied with the quality of workmanship, efficacy, speed, and accessibility/ease of working with the company, I would give feedback...

Sol-Ark 15K All in One Inverter Released.

So, unless a significant part of the quote is time spent arguing with the AHJ (IOW, ask for a breakdown), I'd be inclined to give Sol-Ark some "feedback" regarding their "recommended" installers, giving them the particulars of the install and asking them why they think something so apparently...

Sol-Ark 15K All in One Inverter Released.

Have you asked Sol-Ark for any recommendations of installers in your area? They might recommend someone a bit further away, but since the recommended installer may be more familiar with the Sol-Ark, their quote might come in lower. Then again, if your AHJ is such a PITA, and the Sol-Ark...

    Solar to electric vehicle-direct

I think (but am not positive) that you only needed a Bi-directional capable EV to take advantage of using the EV as part of your battery ESS. I seem to remember that otherwise it just needed to be J1772 compatible (or Tesla, with a Tesla converter) in order to do the DC->DC (and "Level 2+")...
