Thanks, I wanted to see if anyone has the detailed profile for this particular charger with the IQ module? The Noco Charger I have charges at 14.2v 26a until battery pack reaches 13.2V, and then it reduces to 50% amp, (14.2V 13A) and then a little later (closer to 13.6), 10a...
So for a 280ah...
Actually I take back what I sad about the Noco. it's too "smart" for it's own good. It charged about 25/26a for only a couple of hours from a fully discharged battery, now it's going at ~13a charge probably beacuse it sensed the voltage going up, the charging profiles are not really changeable...
Would you be willing to share your question to and responses from the Kisae rep? They have amazing tech support, and I don't want to bother them again if I don't have to.
I have the same Kisae DC to DC charger and same Xuba cells, but will be running 400w solar (2x200w), and about ready to...
I am putting together a new system in my van. I bought all the components including a Kisae DMT-1250.
I am using a NOCO 26000 as my ac charger that I will carry with me. I will be running 280ah LiFePO4 and 400w solar.
Realistically, I don't think I'll ever really need to use it with solar and...
Just wanted to share my testing of the 4 Xuba cells I received. I received all 4 at 3.32v, took about 60 days. I hooked up my Noco 26a charger without any top/bottom balancing and they got up to one cell overvoltage cut off (the voltage below was taken a little after it cut off, so it backed...
Quick Update, looks like I can't edit the original post.
I used a constant current discharger/load tester that put a constant 10a load on the battery pack. This was after the charge I did where one cell jumped high and I let it sit about 5 or 6 days (waiting for load tester to come in).
The...
Thanks Ampster. I have a desktop adjustable voltage constant current charger, so I plan to parallel the cells and charge all to 3.6 to top balance. You're right, I assumed they were same SOC, because I was lazy ? , terrible excuse.
I let the pack sit overnight in series with BMS connected now...
Thanks! I didn't get any info on internal resistance. I'll give parallel top balancing a try, I am just afraid I'll screw up and blow up the cells since it requires more monitoring, lol.
So I got 4 280ah Xuba cells. I hooked up the cells in parallel to balance as first step. Since they came all at 3.32v I didn't bother balancing. I am using one of the 120a smart BMS with low temp protection.
I have a Noco 26000 as my charger. I noticed the batteries charging from 3.32 to 3.4...
I received 5 from Amy, one short to double up the bars. I'd like to get one or a set if anyone wants to get rid of theirs. I am in Southern CA. Thanks!
Sorry in advance if it's not the right forum. I posted in the giant Xuba thread, I think it got lost.
Does anyone have the XUBA bus bars that they don't need? I received 5 bus bars from Amy, missing one bar for doubling up. It would be too troublesome to try to get it from China.
BTW, how many amps do you guys think flattened 1/2" copper pipe can handle? And if double them up?
