  • Richard,
THANK you for the support, and I have had nothing but wonderful results from my EG4 48V battery installs. (4 different installs, various configurations)
I do have a question on whether I can stack the Lifepower4 (or any of the line), in series and what are the limitations? I have heard only the BMS quits reporting, but I am curious on the voltage limitations.
    Hi Richard -
Yes, I would LOVE it if you could try to wrap your head around my 24v EG4 to 24v Inverter problem.
    Here is your reminder...
BTW... I also sent this issue to Sig Solar via your Tech Support website form. Unfortunately that form won't allow me to send attachments.

I'm not going to be able to have a standard, bus bar, "breaker" since this switch is presently mounted inside of a tiny electrical cabinet. Dustin has not yet replied due to the weekend.
I also asked him if simply adding a capacitor between the EG4 & the switch might provide the needed "soft landing" buffering action against any current surge that might occurring? Have you ever seen anything like that work?

Well, thanks to you both for trying to help me out on this. I've had this 24v EG4 since March and I'd really like to get things up and running. The EG4 works great with the rest of the "house" (RV) wiring... just not with my inverter. With your suggestions perhaps we can make it happen?

Sorry for the "texty" email... the 240 character limit for comments can be a pain.
